- Password (stored securely using bcrypt hashing)
- Business name (optional)
- Phone number (optional)
Photos & Media
When you use FTPix to transfer and share photos:
- Photos are uploaded to our cloud storage (Amazon S3, hosted in Mumbai, India region)
- We store photo metadata (filename, size, upload date, EXIF data if present)
- Resized thumbnails are generated for gallery display
- We do not analyze, sell, or share your photos with third parties
Usage Data
We automatically collect:
- Device type and operating system
- App version
- Feature usage statistics (e.g., number of uploads, events created)
- Error logs for debugging
- IP address (for security and analytics)
2. How We Use Your Information
We use the information we collect to:
- Provide, maintain, and improve the FTPix service
- Process your photo uploads and generate shareable galleries
- Send you important service updates and notifications
- Handle billing and subscription management
- Prevent fraud and abuse
- Respond to customer support requests
3. Photo Storage & Security
Your photos are important to us. Here's how we protect them:
- Encryption in transit: All photo uploads use HTTPS/TLS encryption
- Secure cloud storage: Photos are stored on Amazon S3 with server-side encryption (AES-256)
- Access control: Only you (and anyone you share the gallery link with) can access your photos
- Password protection: You can set passwords on galleries for additional security
- Data residency: All data is stored in AWS Mumbai (ap-south-1) region
4. Sharing & Disclosure
We do not sell your personal information or photos. We may share information only in these cases:
- Gallery sharing: When you share a gallery link, anyone with the link can view the photos (unless password-protected)
- Service providers: We use Amazon Web Services (AWS) for hosting and storage, and Razorpay for payment processing
- Legal requirements: If required by law, regulation, or valid legal process
- Business transfers: In connection with a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets
5. Data Retention
- Active accounts: Your data is retained as long as your account is active
- Cancelled subscriptions: Photos remain accessible for 30 days after your billing period ends, then are deleted
- Account deletion: Upon request, we delete your account and all associated photos within 30 days
- Free plan: Inactive free accounts may be deleted after 12 months of no activity

You have the right to:
- Access: Request a copy of all data we hold about you
- Correction: Update your account information anytime from the app
- Deletion: Request deletion of your account and all photos
- Export: Download all your photos via the bulk download feature
- Restrict processing: Contact us to limit how we use your data
7. Cookies & Tracking
Our website uses minimal cookies:
- Session cookies: To keep you logged in to the dashboard
- Preference cookies: To remember your settings
- We do not use third-party advertising cookies or tracking pixels
8. Children's Privacy
FTPix is not intended for use by individuals under 18 years of age. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided us with data, please contact us and we will delete it.
